Children's Ministries
Children are very important to us at the EAC! We offer a full range of learning and ministry opportunities for children, including:
Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. with these classes:
Nursery - for infants and toddlers under 2 years of age
Chipmunks - for 2 and 3 year olds
Lambs - for 4 and 5 year olds
Explorers - for 1st through 3rd graders
Treasure Seekers - for 4th and 5th graders
Loving nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers through the age of 3 years during all of our services. The nursery for infants and toddlers up to the age of 2 is located on the main level, adjacent to the sanctuary. Two and three year olds have their own spacious classroom upstairs.
Children's Church is available during a portion of the morning worship service for children from 4 years of age up to those in 4th grade. The pre-school group and the elementary group meet separately to offer age appropriate learning using a strong Bible-based curriculum.
"Kids on a Mission" meets on Wednesday nights at the church from September through May, from 6:45 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Children from 4 years of age to those in 5th grade meet for exuberant praise and worship, missions emphasis, scripture memorization, and much more. A highlight for the children is participating in our annual Missions Conference, as well as being a part of other special outreach activities during the year. Our KOAM kids are divided into the following teams: Mustard Seeds ( 4 and 5 year olds), Kingdom Kids (1st through 3rd graders) , Alpha (4th and 5th grade girls) and Omega (4th and 5th grade boys). Our desire is to equip our children to fulfill their mission - sharing the good news of Jesus everywhere they go!
